A Future and a Hope Conference · Feb. 22

Looking to learn more about foster care and adoption? Then this conference is for you! It is an all day conference on Feb. 22nd at Grace Covenant Church. It is for those who want to support the adoptive/foster care community, learn more about what it would like to foster care or adopt, as well as anyone interested in learning more about the social crisis in our city caused by the loss of family: homelessness, trafficking, incarceration, and crisis pregnancies. You can learn more and sign up at the Eventbrite page.

This conference is being put on by one of our great partners in town, Fostering Hope, and they are looking for volunteers to help run the conference. In the past, several of you have jumped in and served! Thank you! If you are looking for a place to volunteer and a clear way to support foster care in Austin, please sign up here to volunteer.

Guatemala Partnership Trip Apr. 23-28

We have had the gift of partnering with Iglesia Reforma, an Acts29 church plant in Guatemala City, Guatemala for 5 years. On April 23-28th, we will be taking a small group from Providence to spend time learning from and praying with the leadership of Iglesia Reforma, praying for their ministry and new church planting efforts, and more. We will also be spending time serving at a children’s home and school outside of the city as they minister to some of the most vulnerable children in Central America. The number of spots on the team is limited and the deadline to signup is February 15th, so if you are interested in being on the team or would like more details, email Jordan.

Providence Recovery | Every Thursday · 7:00-8:00pm

Providence Recovery is a Christ-centered twelve-step program designed to help people point each other to Jesus for healing and provide fellowship and accountability in applying Christian principles and practices to every area of life. Providence Recovery meets at 7:00pm on Thursdays at Kinney Avenue Christian Fellowship (1801 Kinney Ave).
